Happy Monday! My dad, brother, and I are back on Nantucket after our family reunion this past weekend. It was a weekend for the books with a hilarious family talent show, four dogs chasing each other around all day, my Aunt Kate teaching me how to dive (time to cross number 50 off my 101 in 1001 list!), and lots of quality time with cousins who flew in from London and San Francisco. I’m already counting down the days until we see everyone again at Thanksgiving!

Last week my mom, dad, sister, and I went to check out the Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum which shares the history of some of the 700 shipwrecks and ensuing rescues off the coast of Nantucket. Sadly we arrived right as they were closing for the day (🤦🏼‍♀️) so we just explored the outside of the museum and will have to go back to do the actual tour! The museum is located in a gorgeous shingled building overlooking one of the ponds on Polpis Road and is such a beautiful spot whether you’re looking to learn more about Nantucket history or just appreciate its natural beauty. I wore this flag sweater that spells out ACK in nautical letters which felt very appropriate for the occasion. I also love this similar style featuring the Nantucket flag!

  1. Spring is hopefully just around the corner (maybe if I keep typing it then it will come true) – despite all the freezing cold weather we have had recently, I’ve refused to welcome anymore knitwear or thick coats into my life. Anything I purchase from here on out has to be able to work through spring/summer, and hopefully there will be some sunshine and questionable tan lines along the way…
