After our first day in Vermont, we woke up for breakfast at Red Rooster in our hotel and then signed out bikes to explore the town of Woodstock. This charming covered bridge is just across the street from the inn and we discovered the most beautiful homes on the other side of the bridge. It was the perfect way to get our bearings and find a breakfast spot for the next day before we set off for Stowe and Warren later in the day!
I wore my beloved Dudley Stevens turtleneck which you absolutely need if you live in New England. The founders Lauren and Kaki are local (we all actually went to the same high school!) and it’s been such a joy to get to know them and watch their business grow over the past couple years. I’ve introduced several of my girlfriends to their line and now it’s practically a guarantee that at least two of us will show up for dinner in matching turtlenecks anytime in fall or winter. I lived in mine all last year but realized I had never properly photographed it for the blog so voilà!
To be honest I was worried a fleece turtleneck would be bulky in person but the fit is surprisingly super flattering and it’s just hands down the coziest item of clothing I own. I’m wearing the XS here but if you’re between sizes, I’d recommend going a size up for that extra coziness factor. I’m also loving their blazers and vests and regularly turn to their Instagram for styling inspiration (copying this look stat). I’m telling you once you have one, you’ll want to order every color!
