A SHIRTDRESS YOU CAN WEAR IN THREE SEASONS

I’ve been in Charleston for a press trip with Elizabeth Arden this week and it is still so warm here! I’m glad I remembered to pack the navy shirtdress in this post because it works just as well with espadrilles as it does with the suede boots I wore it with last weekend. I love a wardrobe staple that works in multiple seasons — I’m officially adding this one to my wardrobe essentials for fall, spring, and summer.

The shirtdress fits true to size (this is the XS) and is by the same designer as some of my favorite button-down shirts (which have hidden buttons to prevent them from gaping open at the chest). I love the drop waist and of course the fact that it has pockets! Here I wore it with the same bag and boots as the outfit I posted on Tuesday — I love these boots just as much with a dress as I do over jeans.

I’ve been trying to include more links to similar but less expensive pieces in my outfit posts — let me know if that’s something you’d like to see more of! For this outfit you could get the look for less with this dress, these sunnies, this bag, and these boots.

  1. I love this dress so much. Thanks for also including links to options that are similar but less expensive, I think that’s a great feature to add to the blog.

Stay safe in Charleston, I can’t believe it’s getting hit with another hurricane!
