TWO FALL LOOKS WITH POLO RALPH LAUREN

Today I’m super excited to be partnering with Polo Ralph Lauren to showcase a few of my favorite items for fall. Polo Ralph Lauren has long been one of my favorite brands, not only because my mom worked there throughout my childhood but because I know every piece of theirs is something I’ll want to wear for years to come. (True story: I still own items I purchased when I worked in their Nantucket store the summer I turned 17!) I think the word “classic” gets thrown around a lot when it comes to personal style, but I firmly believe no one does classic American style better than Ralph Lauren. Whether it’s a splurge-worthy pair of leather pants, a timeless white polo shirt, or the perfect cashmere sweater, Polo Ralph Lauren makes pieces I’ll want to pass down to my own children someday… and if that’s not the definition of classic, I don’t know what is!

It’s hard to play favorites, but I am probably the most excited about this camel coat, which is super soft and looks as good with skinny jeans as it does over this houndstooth skirt. I’m wearing the size 0 and would recommend sizing down for a more tailored fit. And you guys know I live for a good blazer — I somehow didn’t have one in gray so this windowpane blazer has been on heavy rotation with a t-shirt or fitted sweater underneath.

Polo was also kind enough to send a few goodies for Will, whose collection of their cable-knit cashmere sweaters now rivals my own. This puffer vest is an easy everyday layering piece (and would be a perfect gift come Christmastime!) and I love the look of a sweater over their classic oxford shirts.

  1. That coat!!!!!

I’ve been wanting to purchase this coat for a while. It looks stunning! Do you think it would keep you warm through the fall?

    1. You will love it (and it’s 30% off right now)! It’s definitely not a substitute for a winter coat but it’s perfectly warm layered over a sweater for temperatures in the 40s like we’ve had in CT lately. Enjoy! 🙂

  2. Are your shoes stubbs? I have been considering ordering these – any advice on the sizing compared to their classic slippers? Thanks!
