A reader emailed me asking for ideas on stocking stuffers and I knew it couldn’t wait until my Friday Q&A! Almost all of these are from Amazon and Nordstrom so you can still get them in time for Christmas. A few of my favorites are this ring cleaning pen that’s less than $5 (my mother-in-law gave me one last year and it’s magic!), my travel steamer, my favorite self-tanner, my curling iron (I use the 1.25″ but the 1″ is on sale for $25!), my go-to lipstick (I wore the shade “Roman Holiday” on our wedding day), and my favorite mascara. And you know everyone on my list is getting one of these $8 fabric shavers — you can see mine in action here. And if you’re still looking after all those, check out this post on my all-time favorite Amazon purchases!
Stockings are always one of my favorite parts of Christmas morning! There are nine grandchildren on my mom’s side of the family and we open presents one at a time from youngest to oldest, followed by a parents-and-grandparents Christmas that goes from oldest to youngest. When we were little it was so hard to wait and watch each gift being opened so our parents would first let us open our stockings all at the same time before sitting down for the main event. Now my youngest brother is 21 and our Grandy is 91, but we still open presents in the same order we have since we were toddlers!
