I fell in love with this blue silk stripe from Tibi the moment I saw it and I know this tank top is a piece I’ll be wearing for years to come. It also comes in a dress, a blazer, and a pair of shorts but I thought the silk tank was my best bet to get me through a summer pregnancy. (But the dress would be fabulous for a special occasion — it reminds me of the dress I wore for our rehearsal dinner!) I’m also loving this zippered tote from new-to-me brand MZ Wallace — a few of you have recommended their bags over the years and the introduction of their navy and white stripe print was the perfect excuse to try one for myself! The quilted nylon will be perfect for the beach this summer and it might even make a great diaper bag come fall.

I’ve been shopping on Nordstrom now more than ever before thanks to their free shipping and free returns — I’m definitely still learning how to dress my growing bump and I feel like I’m constantly guessing and exchanging different sizes. Thankfully the size small in this tank works well for the bump now and will be cute tucked into high-waisted jeans or layered underneath a blazer post-pregnancy. I’m also obsessed with this hydrangea blue bow top — would be darling with white jeans or high-waisted shorts!

  1. We decided on using the MZ Wallace metro backpack in navy and throwing a few pouches and the quilted pad as our diaper bag for our little boy on his way. I’ve toted that backpack around Ireland, Argentina and almost all of our domestic trips for the last few years and it holds a lot and looks cute–and my husband doesn’t mind holding it either. I hadn’t realized the brand had been around long enough to have been some of my little sister’s high school graduation gifts from people, but sure enough as I was telling her this, she showed me the pieces she’d had since then. It felt weird to have my not-interested-in-anything-fashion-related sister know about a brand years before I did. Love your outfit!
