INTRODUCING TEDDY

Will and I are absolutely over the moon to introduce you to our baby boy, Teddy! He arrived on Friday, September 27, at 4:18 p.m. and we have been madly in love ever since. His full name is William Edward Beuttenmuller after his dad and my grandfathers, both of whom were named Edward and went by Teddy. He was born at 7 pounds, 13 ounces and 20 inches with a full head of dark brown hair just like his dad’s!

The past six days have been a blur of learning to breastfeed, starting to heal, visiting with family, sleeping, wishing we were sleeping (😝), and just staring at our little baby in complete awe that he’s ours. I truly didn’t know it was possible to love someone I just met this much and we are soaking up every second of his snuggles and sweet newborn smell. I’m eager to get back to regular posting here but right now I’m just taking it one day at a time and trying to give myself time to recover and adjust before I jump back in with both feet. I so appreciate you sticking with me during this time of transition and will pop back in as often as I’m able! Here are a few photos from Teddy’s first few days — so grateful this baby is already surrounded by so many people who love him as much as we do. xx
