SARAH FLINT BOW FLATS

Hi friends. I hope you’re all feeling healthy and finding ways to stay hopeful. This week Will and I are trying to add a little structure to our days switching off between work and taking care of Teddy — I’m definitely craving some semblance of a routine in the midst of so much uncertainty.

It admittedly feels a little frivolous to talk about shoes with everything going on in the world, but at the same time I think it’s more important than ever to support the small businesses you love and I know you’re going to love Sarah Flint. Their shoes are handmade in Italy (you may have seen them donating a percentage of proceeds to Italian hospitals crippled by the pandemic ??) and they work with the same factories as many well-known luxury brands. The difference is that they sell completely direct-to-consumer, so you get designer quality shoes for roughly half the price. They’re still an investment, but if you’re focused on quality over quantity and the longevity of items you own, I can’t recommend these more highly.

I could tell from the second I opened the box that these flats were beautifully made. It’s hard to find flats that won’t fall apart after one or two seasons, but these are sturdy, structured, and have a thin rubber sole. The pointed toe is extremely flattering while extra padding makes them totally comfortable, two things that are often mutually exclusive. I’m wearing the sand calf (true to size) but I love the saddle vachetta color as well!

P.S. You can take $50 off any Sarah Flint purchase with code SF-MACKENZIE at checkout. I hope you find something you love!
