I’m a little bummed to have no special occasions to dress up for this holiday season, but I’m shifting the attention I would have directed to tracking down cocktail dresses and hostess gifts to finding the comfiest clothes to wear around the house as we head into the heart of winter. I have to change out of pajamas to feel productive (unless I’m in my first trimester — then all bets are off) but I’d be lying if I said my version of “getting dressed” lately has been anything much more exciting than an old college sweatshirt and a pair of workout leggings. That’s why I plan to live in these new arrivals from Summersalt — you guys know I’m their absolute #1 fan when it comes to swimsuits and their assortments for loungewear, activewear, and sleepwear are equally on point!

This cashmere sweater and jogger pairing would make a DREAM gift for any ladies you’re still shopping for. It’s a blend of lightweight merino wool and 10% cashmere AKA as cozy and soft as can be. It’s such a step up from my usual around-the-house wear — and completely appropriate to wear out of the house for a quick coffee run!

This French terry funnel neck pullover is hands down the softest sweatshirt I’ve ever owned. It’s like the perfect well loved, broken in t-shirt in sweatshirt form and it’s an easy way to feel more pulled together than your standard crewneck. The colorblock style and cinched waist version are equally cute — I would happily wear either with these high rise leggings!

And last but not least, when you are ready to change into pajamas (at whatever time that may be — no judgment here), you need to know about Summersalt’s silky pajama sets. They call this their Cloud 9 fabric and I can see why! These PJs are super soft, machine washable, and come in a bunch of cute prints as well as a sleep shirt version. I had to have the matching sleep mask too!

  1. That new cashmere-blend turtleneck sweater is gorgeous! I just bought those joggers for my SIL and now am tempted to get the sweater for her, too 🙂
