HALL BATHROOM REMODEL UPDATE #3

I finally have a little more progress to share from our hall bathroom remodel! If you’re just tuning in, you can see the before pictures and plans here, the first update here, and the second update here. The big update this week is that the custom vanity arrived and probably 90% of the tile work has wrapped up, so now we’re just waiting on countertops, plumbing, and electrical work before we get to move on to the fun stuff (i.e. the wallpaper!!!). This week I also ordered two of these affordable mirrors, these knobs for the vanity, and this affordable shower curtain so I’m eager for those to arrive so I can make sure they’re right for the space. We’ve already received the ceiling fixture, the sconce, and the most gorgeous monogrammed towels so I’m excited to see it all start coming together hopefully in the next week or so!

Ignore the splotches left behind by the old mirror — this wall will be sanded down and primed for wallpaper as soon as the new countertop is installed! The doors to the left open to a small linen closet and will be updated to match the cabinetry on the vanity.

It’s definitely still a work in progress, but all the bright white is a happy change from the mauve/gold/tan situation that was here when we bought the house!

There will be a chair rail tile on top of the subway tile and then wallpaper up to new crown moulding.

The vanity still needs some drawer tightening and new hardware, but we’re starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!
