It’s been almost a year since I first posted a round-up of stylish face masks and I wanted to do a little update since I think face masks are going to be part of our new normal for quite some time! Even with all the hopeful vaccine news of late (we’re eligible to register in Connecticut starting later this week!), I think continuing to wear a mask in public is truly the least we can all do to keep each other safe. Plus nearly every designer and retailer has released their own styles and there are so many cute fabrics and prints for the warm weather ahead!

I have and love this one from J.McLaughlin that you can shape over your nose and you also can’t beat the price or the patterns of this cute three-pack so I’m going to scoop that up with my next J.Crew order. Any other favorite mask sources I should know about? Do tell!

  1. My sweet college age neighbor started making masks during the pandemic and she’s got the cutest patterns ever! Everything from hydrangeas to chinoiserie prints…unicorns to crabs. And they come with nose wires and adjustable ear straps. AND she makes kid sizes too which my grandchildren wear to preschool. You can find her on Facebook: “masks by grace”. You have to request to join the group. I’ve tried every brand and i find hers to be the most comfortable.

  2. Mackenzie you are so right and thank you for reminding your followers that wearing masks and physical distancing continue to be so important to stop the spread of this virus! Readers should know they are only fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose of the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines and after one Johnson & Johnson dose. Even then they can potentially still catch and transmit COVID-19, they just will have some immunity themselves and not become deathly ill. Mask wearing and physical distancing is for the protection of those who are not yet vaccinated, especially our children who can not yet be vaccinated and seem so much more susceptible to the new viral variants currently circulating.

  3. The Draper James masks are my very favorites. They’re so comfortable and come with filters. I have the pack you’ve shown above and a few more; they’re absolutely the best masks I’ve come across!

Hubs and I are both awaiting our second vaccine. I agree it’s important to keep masking up, and it will feel so good to have the second shot under our belts!
