STRAWBERRY PICKING AT BARTLETT’S FARM

We went strawberry picking at Bartlett’s Farm over the weekend and I have a feeling this is going to become an annual tradition for us. You know those activities you think your little one(s) will love and it’s a total miss? (Thinking of one particularly traumatic trip to Stew Leonard’s if you’re in CT ?). Thankfully this was the opposite of that. Teddy was living his best life running all over the field and popping over to sample strawberries every few minutes and it was just such a fun way to spend the morning. We went towards the end of the June season and there were still plenty of strawberries — you just pop into the market to purchase cartons and then head to the field off to the left of the store to start picking!

I wore this striped bow shoulder dress from a new-to-me line I’m obsessed with — it feels like a decidedly preppy take on the smocked dresses that are so popular right now and couldn’t be more comfortable! It also comes in blue and green but I thought the red stripes were fun for the Fourth of July and the rest of summer.
