We’ve ordered our Christmas cards from Minted for several years now and their assortment just gets better every year! I love saving a card from each year and looking back at how our family has grown (I’ll link our cards from 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 — they also did our save-the-dates the year we got married!). This year I went with this letterpress star design and a photo we took on Nantucket this summer. I went with coordinating red envelopes for a little pop of color and I’m always so grateful that Minted lets you upload a spreadsheet with all your family and friends’ addresses so your envelopes just need to be stamped before heading out the door. I also love that they source their designs from thousands of independent artists for everything from photo cards and stationery to art prints and custom silhouettes — I can’t wait to show you a few more things I ordered in time for the holidays!
First up is this framed photo collage that I ordered for Will’s parents featuring a ton of photos from their visits with both our boys over the past year. From across the room, it almost looks like a series of framed postage stamps but up close, it documents the entire year from Teddy’s last few months as an only child to our first seven months with Peter. This is the 11” x 14” size and I’d recommend getting this size or larger so you can still make out the details of each photo since there are so many of them!
Next up, I couldn’t resist turning our Christmas card photo into a custom heart puzzle for Teddy. He has been obsessed with puzzles lately and I know he will love assembling this one with his own face on it! A really fun personalized stocking stuffer if you have little ones on your list — or if you’re buying for an older child or adult, you could do one of these 252 piece puzzles!
And I definitely saved the best for last here because I am in *love* with these silhouette prints that I ordered of our boys, to the point that I will have a hard time giving them away and plan to order a set for myself. I simply took photos of each of their profiles and one of the artists at Minted turned each one into a precious little silhouette. I’ve pulled up the digital proofs literally dozens of times since I first received them because I just can’t get enough of how cute they turned out! Such a good gift idea for grandparents, in-laws, new parents… And I just discovered they come in a letterpress version if you want to spend more for a truly one-of-a-kind gift!
I’m so excited that Minted is offering you 20% off their holiday cards and gifts and free shipping through December 5 with code MACKENZIEGIFTS at checkout. I’ve been a customer of theirs for years and there’s no better time to get your holiday cards taken care of or stock up on custom gifts for family and friends!
