It’s been 4 1/2 years since our wedding (how many of you have been reading that long?!) and I still get messages all the time asking if I’ve seen my wedding shoes in stock anywhere. I wore these Christian Louboutin Douce du Desert heels in white satin and as far as I know they haven’t been made since 2017, but I do try to write a post like this one whenever I stumble upon a similar pair and this new Sandale Du Desert style just stopped me in my tracks for any of you planning a spring or summer wedding!

2014…. I think I was drawn in by one of your studio decorating posts + pelmet boxes. I totally stole your idea to use a kallax shelf as a room divider in my own studio apartment.
And yes… I eagerly awaited each wedding post since I was starting to plan my own!
So so cool to hear! Thank you for sticking with me these past eight (!) years!
Beautiful shoes! They worked so perfectly with your dress. I’ve been reading since the pink birdcage chair days too! It’s been so fun to follow along during your moves (and the various pieces you make work in each house), your engagement and wedding, and then as you became a mom! I have 2 girls very close to Teddy and Peter’s age so feels like I’m catching up with a friend when I read each week ☺️
This makes me so happy! Thank you so much for following along 🙂
They are lovely. Rarely are narrow widths available vHelp!
I’ve been following since your studio apartment in the city! If I remember correctly, you had a bright pink chair back then?
Oh my goodness! Yes! I’ve since reupholstered it but you have definitely been here for the long haul 🙂 https://www.mackenziehoran.com/2018/10/31/reupholstering-my-birdcage-chair/
Just pinned this to the wedding board I have for my daughter…she’s 15 and I won’t be using it for a very long time, but these are so lovely!
Have always loved your wedding shoes!! I think I’ll hit 8 years of reading your blog later this year (I feel old now haha).
Oh my gosh eight years!!! Thank you for sticking with me all this time 🙂
