I was so excited when Saks Fifth Avenue reached out asking me to feature a few of my favorite pieces from their current assortment! I often think of Saks as a go-to for cocktail dresses and wedding wear (this brand they carry is one of my favorites!) so I was happily reminded of how many of my favorite more casual brands they stock as well. Think Loeffler Randall, Polo Ralph Lauren, Staud, Veronica Beard, Xirena…! The first outfit below is more or less my everyday uniform (when I’m not wearing workout leggings, that is!).

Polo Ralph Lauren cashmere cable-knit sweater  //  Polo Ralph Lauren classic striped button-front shirt

L’Agence Margot skinny jeans  //  Rag & Bone Rover suede ankle boots (more Rag & Bone booties here)

I have lived in these Polo Ralph Lauren shirts for years — they have the look of a button-down but are made with the same fabric as a polo shirt so the fit is incredible and they’re extra comfortable. These cashmere cable-knit sweaters have also been a staple of mine for a while now (I wear a size S in both!) but this denim brand is a more recent discovery so I was happy to see Saks carries several washes in this style! And these booties are the perfect low height for everyday wear but I also just added this pair to my closet for when I’m feeling more adventurous. 😉

I got a little ahead of myself weather-wise with this one but I couldn’t resist this navy and white maxi dress! I love the crisp trim and tiered silhouette and can’t wait to wear it once the temperature gets above 30 degrees in Connecticut. 🙂 A few more spring-y styles I love here, here, here, here, and here!

  1. Curious if this was your style when you lived in Dallas or if you found it after moving north. It’s very clear what your aesthetic is – I wish I had such a clear direction with my style!

    1. I think I would say this is what I’ve always been drawn to but have occasionally drifted away from and come back to at various points in my life? I certainly look back at certain old outfits and cringe but I’ve gotten more confident about what I like (and don’t like) as I’ve gotten older!
