A BREEZY CHAMBRAY DRESS

Thank you all for your kind words on my maternity jeans review the other day! It makes me happy to know some of you will be spared the headache of finding a decent pair of maternity jeans to get you through the months ahead. Now that I’ve found a couple pairs I love, I’ve shifted my attention to stocking up on breezy dresses to wear on repeat through July and August. We leave for Nantucket on Monday and I couldn’t be more ready to live in loose maxi dresses for the next several weeks.

I found this chambray midi dress and had a hunch it’d be just the kind of dress I’m looking for at this stage in my pregnancy (26 weeks — only two weeks until I’m officially in the third trimester!). I love it dressed up with a straw bag and wedges but it will be just as cute thrown over a bikini with Jack Rogers for a day at the beach. I’ve been doing the majority of my shopping on Nordstrom these days thanks to their free shipping and free returns (because something that looks like it will fit one day feels skin-tight the next!) but thankfully this one wound up in the “keep” pile. Just an easy, versatile piece whether you’re pregnant or not!
